- Since June I bought this unit of AC to support AC Central, my house has felt much better, because here in Texas the vernano is scary. Only once have I had to clean the filter, because the device warns me of it. I recommend this AC to anyone who wants to buy it, it covers a lot of area to cool and it is very easy to install. - This is probably the best window A/C I’ve ever purchased. It’s relatively quiet and cools my home well. The fact that’s it’s a slide-out chassis type is a plus.
- I’ve had this unit a little more than a month and very pleased. East Texas where the temp has been 100 + degrees. In conjunction with a ceiling fan keeps a large living room and dinning room very comfortable. Installation not quite as simple as a smaller unit but not difficult, recommend it be a two person job. Very quite. Filter is easy to remove for cleaning. Outside drain is a great feature as I have had other units that tend leak on the inside of the house but not this one regardless of heat and humidity. Timer feature is also great, I turn it off at night and set it to come on an hour before I usually get up. Already cool by the time I have my morning coffee. Also purchased a smaller version (8,000 BTU) and installed in my bedroom. I can get my bedroom and bath COLD, which is how I prefer to sleep. Easier to install and all the same great features as the larger one. With my bedroom door open you can feel the cool air blowing down a 25 ft. hallway. I highly recommend these units.
- I am very disappointed that my new 10,000 BTU window a/c makes a very annoying, impossible to ignore, rhythmic thrumming sound every few seconds when the compressor is working.
- This is our 4th LG Window Air Conditioner and we love them. We had new replacement windows installed by Window World and our other window mounted air conditioners would not fit in the new windows. The LG’s fit perfectly, they are quieter then our older models and with the Energy Saver they keep our whole house nice and cool. I would definitely purchase LG Window Mounted Air Conditioners again. WalMart carries the LC and being retired, we had them delivered to our home. We received them as promised, I would definitely go through WalMart again for this product or any other home items.

- Very, easy to install. Filter easy to keep clean. Keeps rooms cool an comfortable. Very reasonably price. Compared to other stores with the exact same product.
- What happened to purchasing and putting into window?? it was absolutely a ridiculous nightmare took over an hour to put into a second floor window. We have a this same model only older x2 and you can just slide them into a window, not with this new model. There isn’t a long built in bracket anymore on the bottom, you have to separate the casing from the air-conditioner to put it into a window. Terrible design, then the nuts for the brackets were too short, we had to buy extra nuts that were longer to fit the brackets that hold the air-conditioner in the window. LG needs to go back to the way they used to make them. This years model is a terrible design.
