he DeLonghi 50-pint dehumidifier with patented pump features a worry-free pump function that allows the unit to continuously discharge moisture without constantly emptying a bucket. The unit can pump water upward to drain out a basement window or into a sink, up to 16 feet with the provided hose. The electronic controls and LCD display allow you to adjust relative humidity, monitor room temperature and set the 24-hour timer. With its frontally located tank and transparent water level window, you can easily see how much water has been collected if you choose to use the tank function. The tank has a 6-liter capacity and an alarm alerts you when it is filled.

- Excellent dehumidifier. Use as one of two dehumidifiers to manage the sealed crawl space humidity. Basically runs 24/7. Best feature for me is that condensate is pumped to sump pump eliminating any need for me to periodically empty a full tank. Extremely reliable device. Running 24/7 (coastal NC) it lasts about 3+ years before any maintenance required. More cost effective for me to replace unit.
- We have been using a three year old DeLonghi if this model.that unit had been working flawlessly. Now that we need to return that one we bought a new one. Really quiet. Looking forward to using the pump. Since our friend lost the hose with the unique adapter that we could not purchase anywhere, we never were able to use that feature. This is a great unit and picking it up at Walmart was a breeze.

- I really like this product. I purchased a different dehumidifier for my basement apartment in May. It was the worst dehumidifier because it blew out hot air and I had to empty the water bucket two times per day. I returned it and purchased the DeLonghi dehumidifier from Walmart. This was the best decision I ever made. I was surprised when I received this product 4 days before the expected delivery date (thumbs up for Walmart). I love that it has the optional pump so I don’t have to empty the bucket. The pump tube is long enough to place outside of my window and away from the side of the house (towards the street). I can close and lock my window without damaging the tube (good quality tube). My dehumidifier was on for almost two months and I never had a problem. I had to shut it off a few times for several hours and the pump tube held the water (it did not drain into the bucket) until I turned the machine on again (water flow pushed water through the tube, and out towards the street). I read some bad reviews where people had trouble turning on the machine, but I’m glad I didn’t allow those reviews to influence my decision.
- I returned the first one I purchased via Walmart online to their store because it leaked on the floor (very easy return, no hassle) and purchased a second one because my neighbor’s works flawlessly. The second one preforms as advertised; absolutely great. And, no leaks. I just got a lemon the first time. No problems this time around.
- I am returning the DeLonghi dehumidifier. It didn’t leak the first few days and was dehumidifying expertly so I didn’t pay attention that it had begun to leak which pooled on the floor, the wooden stairs etc. I called DeLonghi support (in India as it turns out). It was determined that I had correctly set it up and since the leak seemed to be coming from the pump and I am not supposed to access the pump area that the unit was defective. I was refused a replacement but could send it to their repair center. It was vague how long it would be before I got it back; perhaps weeks? I decided to just return it to WalMart. I hope that they don’t give me a hard time.
