• came in great condition, very little odor. ready to use in about 2 hrs of unwrapping. we use it in a cottage playhouse for our grand kids. folds up easily for storage. this was the best price i could find and worth every penny. the cover is as good a quality as a full size mattress. delivery on time.
• I’m 5’2” and 110 lbs with back injuries that require sleeping on a firm surface permanently. Milliard tri-folding mattress was an excellent solution for me. I tried a different product (DHP Twin Mattress) that was not memory foam and kept waking up from the discomfort of feeling the ground. The Milliard foam is dense and feels like a quality mattress. It may be too firm for some but was perfect for me – however, I like firmness and I am a back-sleeper. I felt comfortable on my side but do not know how it would feel to sleep all night on my side. If you like plush surfaces or sleep on your side, it may be better to add a mattress topper on top. Unboxing: • Arrived compactified in a 34x11x11” box, weighing slightly under 10 lbs. • Upon removing from box/wrapping, mattress expanded enough in several hours for me to use for the night. • There was no detectable odor General features: • Comes with removable cover • Mattress folds into three 25x31x4” rectangular segments • There are no carrying handles or Velcro closure for the folded position – however, the mattress is light enough to carry easily without handles and stays folded upright without any Velcro closure. Mattress: • When I first laid down, I regretted my purchase because the mattress felt too firm, even for me. • However, after a few minutes, the mattress softened up around my body until it felt like I was getting excellent firm support but without a feeling of discomfort. Had a deep restful night of sleep. • I was worried that I might feel the folding parts under me, but it made no difference whatsoever. I did not notice the divisions when lying down. • This twin size is only 31” wide, so while it’s great if you need a small footprint, it may not be wide enough if you move around a lot in your sleep. Cover: • Cover looks high quality, does not smell. • One side is gray and made of 2-layer mesh breathable material. The other side is soft and thick, and is an off-white color with a few bamboo patterns. • Machine-wash and dry • Each trifold segment has a zipper wrapping around on 3 (of 4) sides. This makes it very easy to remove the foam pieces when you need to wash the cover. I will update the review after several months to comment on mattress longevity.
