Like some of the other reviewers that have tried different cheaper models, this may be inexpensive, but the quality is not lacking. Comfortable to wear and the level of light options make it an ideal headlamp light to use in dark areas. I use mine to do electrical work changing light switches and sockets and also to work on guns and such.
Ive had a couple cheap versions of headlamps, got tired of them malfuctioning and breaking. Before I purchased this one, Ive had the smaller hyper tough headlamp with 3AAA batteries. The best one Ive had so far, so I got the bigger Better version and it was worth it. Thanks
Got this in the Haymarket Walmart. Very helpful guy called Tim, from the shooting/fishing section got it for me from the tool section. I would bet he knows where everything in the store is !!!! The torch itself is well made and is excellent, Great light. full beam is better than other brands at twice the price, there are 4 light options, a wide beam for general use, and 2 beam options, the hight setting cuts into the darkness very well, and a strobe light. comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. 5 out of 5 stars
Pros: 4 levels of light beams; feeding livestock at night- flood light; working on stuff – low beam; looking for livestock at night-high beam; use to get home in the dark on trails on dirt bike (low speed driving only) – high beam; and runs on AA batteries. Suggest high beam be even a brighter narrow beam 🙂 Cons: can’t think of any.
I bought this for snowblowing at night and other outdoor activities in my yard, walking to the mailbox, etc. and it is perfect and easy to use. Good lighting, comfortable fit too.
I was looking for a head lamp while doing work outside in the dark, since it gets darker earlier these days, and stumbled across this “cheap” headlamp. This headlamp, despite the price, is far from cheap. While it doesn’t have a rechargeable battery pack and requires batteries, the light is incredibly bright and has multiple modes to choose from depending on your task in the dark. I highly recommend this for the “cheaper” option!
